Lubuska Policja włącza się w obchody Dnia Bezpiecznego Internetu 2019
5 lutego w całej Polsce trwa akcja „Dzień Bezpiecznego Internetu: Działajmy razem!”. W celu zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa dzieci i młodzieży w „sieci”, a także świadomości użytkowników Internetu w zakresie bezpiecznego i efektywnego korzystania oraz odpowiedzialności karnej za przestępstwa cyberprzemocowe w obchody DBI 2019 włącza się także Lubuska Policja.

Jak zostać policjantem i na czym polega służba w naszej formacji, dowiedzieli się uczniowie ze Szkoły Podstawowej w Bieniowie
Żarską komendę odwiedzili uczniowie 7 i 8 klasy ze Szkoły Podstawowej w Bieniowie. Młodzież zwiedziła budynek jednostki oraz dowiedziała się na czym polega służba w poszczególnych wydziałach oraz co zrobić, żeby zostać policjantem.

Odprawa podsumowująca pracę żarskich policjantów w 2018 r.
W sali konferencyjnej Komendy Powiatowej Policji w Żarach odbyła się odprawa roczna żarskiej Policji z udziałem I Zastępcy Komendanta Wojewódzkiego Policji w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim insp. Krzysztofa Sidorowicza.
